How did you feel during 47 years of state sponsored terrorism?
I was deployed to Iraq for a year and witnessed Iraqis (mostly civilians) and Americans being slaughtered by Iranian IED's. I know how I felt.
How did you on Oct 7, when thousands were murdered, tortured and taken hostage, when children were killed in their homes?
How do you feel about such a treacherous regime having nuclear weapons and the ability to make good on their goals of Death to Israel and Death to America.
The United States is preventing that, making the world a safer place. I am very proud of that.
I'm more a football fan than baseball and have already watched my two other favorite sports all but die - pro boxing and horseracing. But baseball is still a bit too slow, even though they did take my advice and institute a clock on the pitcher. OK, they didn't take my advice, they don't know me from Adam, but I have been on the record supporting a clock on the pitcher since my Dad suggested it to anyone who'd listen in the 80s. My other problem is my team. They've been in the cellar of late. Living in a 2 baseball team town does make things more fun than otherwise, I suspect. My team is the White Sox. The more blue collar team. That other team is the team of yuppies (Actually, are they still a thing?). As we're wont to say in the summertime - Cuck the Fubs! Personally, it can't get to September soon enough, my Bears are on the upswing!

Thank you for reading and responding! I do not believe the world is now, or will be, a safer place because of this, but we can agree to disagree.
