Today marks Armed Forces Day, a time to honor the Americans who wear the uniform and defend the nation we are proud to call home.
Our mission has always been rooted in a belief that America is worth fighting for — that our freedoms, our people and the truth are worth defending. But none of those things endure without the courage of the men and women who step forward to serve.
To every active-duty service member, veteran, military spouse, parent, child and family member in our audience: thank you.
Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your strength. Thank you for carrying the burdens most Americans will never fully see.
On Armed Forces Day, we honor you. You have our gratitude and respect.
