Brilyn Hollyhand is a 19-year-old political commentator most famous for going viral shortly after the death of Charlie Kirk. He got into some hot water with a lot of the online right, most intensely with the Nick Fuentes/Groyper crowd, for trying to “replace” Charlie and being an alleged vessel to re-popularize Bushism with the youth.
I like talking to interesting characters, so I reached out to Brilyn to ask for an interview. After some back and forth, we got together and talked. My goal was to try to figure out what his deal really is. The caricature of Brilyn is that he’s a neocon dork being propped up by the donor class with ideas that appeal more to Baby Boomers than Zoomers.
Brilyn would tell you he’s just a kid who loves America who is trying to make a difference. I’ll let you decide what you think of him. He was very kind in my dealings with him, and I do believe he means well. We talked about Pat Buchanan, Fuentes, college football, and how a well-off kid who goes on TV all the time can relate to struggling young men. I do think he should do more interviews like this one so that he has more meat on the bones of his answers. Regardless, give it a watch.
