I recently spoke to Stateless Citizen , aka Ted, aka That Guy Who Went Viral For Getting Deported And Acknowledging It Was Justified.
“About six months ago, I was deported from the US, and immediately following that deportation, I made a social media profile where I was discussing the circumstances of my deportation and my political opinions, sort of taking the position that as someone who is deported, in the midst of all that was going on with the [Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] protests and all that, I wanted to say something like, ‘Hey, I was deported, and I think it was justified.’ I’m not here saying, ‘I hate Trump. I hate ICE.’ I did reside unlawfully in the United States for a period of time which warranted my deportation,” says Ted.
We discussed:
What The Telegraph got wrong about his story
Why he was deported
How Catholicism informs his perspective
Tunamaxxing and the carnivore diet
Was criticism of Israel an aggravating factor in his deportation?
What’s next for him
