It’s Monday, 8 am, and we’re already in fifth gear.
Welcome to State of the Day, where I strip the euphemism and misdirection off national politics and give it to you straight, no ice, no mixer.
Let’s get to it.
IN 2026, DEMS MEET THE LOVE OF THEIR LIFE
The battered and bludgeoned Democratic Party has had more identity shifts in the last decade than even the most mentally unhinged pronoun warrior, and we’re in the middle of the most egregious one yet.
You can almost understand how we got here.
Going from the heights of Obama, a perfectly mocha two-time winning liberal Jesus who is probably gay but still has a buttery smooth lay up form … to Hillary squawking and shrieking and then getting absolutely smacked, to Biden’s mashed potato brains, to anointed one Kamala Harris self immolating. Each failure was more stunning and more stupid than the last. You can see how the party got so nuts.
Look at its electoral politics over the last decade. First it was illegal immigrants and by proxy “latinx” voters. That didn’t work. Gendered language and the Virgin Mary were too much for Dems to surmount. Plus there was way too much raping and murdering of joggers and the like. Quickly they turned to Black Race Essentialism. New acolytes sprung up. Ibrahim X. Kendi, whose real name is Hank, led Democrats to yet another inexorable hole in the wall. That reaaallllyyy didn’t work. Cities burned. Crime exploded. Oops. Let’s go all in on trannies, shall we? Oh boy did that backfire. All of it was on its face insane looking to everyday normals, and then you had that perfect sound bite of Kamala Harris advocating for taxpayer-funded sex changes for incarcerated, illegal immigrant felons. Ouch.
Dems ditched the white working class under Hillary. Too boring. SNORE, amirite? They flopped from antifa dorks and hispanics to black militants to transgender militants, burnt through several suitors and came out the other end with black eyes and missing teeth. So of course naturally now New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is in hijab visiting a Bronx Islamic Center just days from the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.
All things being equal, if you’re going to have a toxic, abusive relationship with the American electorate, Islamism is the final boss. Correction: Islamomarxism.
Let’s combine two of the most corrosive ideologies in the history of civilization, shall we? Counting down until Democrats fell in love with it and we came up just short of 25 years from when that exact ideology rammed two airplanes into the twin towers.

He loves beheading infidels, marrying nine year olds, throwing gays off rooftops, and strapping c4 to retarded people in order to vaporize jews. He also supports robustly funded social programs!

Hopefully the Dems learn this time, but probably they won’t. An all Muslim-city council in Michigan that liberals at first supported immediately nuked gay pride symbols.
That’s amusing to us, sure, and we can laugh about it, but once they get to setting up ethnoreligious nanny states, we won’t be so amused.
You can also see why liberals love them so much, particularly as they slowly get over the transgender craze. Muslims love executing infidels and so do tranny warriors. Kind of a match made in hell when you think about it.
The rise of Islamocommunism on the left, I’m convinced, will be the party’s final undoing. First, there’s really nowhere to go from there. There are no other racial or religious cross sections left. It’s the last one.
Second, it’s unsustainable. Allowing billions to go to fraudulent muslim daycares just because they vote for you is pretty egregious. People got pissed and will remain pissed. Also the majority of Americans still don’t want to hear the call to prayer in the suburbs. They just don’t. They don’t want to go to Costco and see that people not wearing hijabs are in the minority.
There’s a low-IQ strength in Islamomarxism that liberals admire, especially after having been beaten so badly for so long. It’s perfectly human to seek out strength when you feel weak.
But like the last handful of dalliances, it won’t end well.
