Some pretty interesting things happening online, to those of us who are too online.
Let’s get after it.
THE ‘RACISTS’ ARE MORE RELATABLE
This past weekend offered a stunning series of reminders to the voting public.
Two competing bits of liberal programming hit the streams like absolute nuclear bombs. First, the nationwide No Kings protests. Images, videos and soundbites quickly went viral showing the typical band of idiots, weirdos and straight up crazies.
God bless the patience of this black dude interviewing these people. This woman has been compared to something out of Mad Max.
Content coming from the protests is literally incoherent. We’ve got Islamic militants marching beside transgender ideologues. We’ve got praise for oppressive communist and Islamic dictators under “no kings” banners. We’ve got elected American officials explicitly pledging fealty to foreigners.
It’s all insane.
The meeting of Democratic Socialists in Ontario was considerably more well coiffed, but no less crazy. It featured a parade of usual suspects taking the mic to call “point of privilege.”
“Point of privilege, the closed captioning is too slow.”
“Point of privilege, as a black woman … ”
“Point of privilege, I saw someone misusing our privilege cards.”
Yes, they handed out color-coded privilege cards that denoted someone’s individual identifying information. Are you a black, polyamorous, transgender squirrel-person? Card for that.
Clips of this meeting also went viral, as they do every year, in large part because, outside of hearing these oddballs talk about themselves, nothing seems to actually get accomplished.
“The left is completely cooked,” concluded popular streamer Asmongold. “Isn’t it crazy how nothing is ever even discussed or done. It’s just people talking about themselves. It’s just complete narcissism. Oh my god.”
“These are the people that when you hire them into your office, your office becomes less productive,” he said. “They’re not useless. They’re actually a negative. If they were a zero, you could just write it off.”
Then he got to the point.
“The problem is we have enabled this by tolerating it,” he said. “The reason why I will never vote for a Democrat for anything is they enable these people. Whenever you vote for a ‘moderate’ Democrat, you’re actually voting for these people, because they enable these people.”
That’s the kicker, my friends.
It’s Tim Walz pledging allegiance to foreigners and fraudulent schemes. It’s Gavin Newsom’s wife pledging to be the first “first partner” instead of first lady. These are the best “moderates” the party can find.
In one of my many political chats, we came to an easy conclusion: This incoherence is why more and more “ethnics choose the racists.”
For decades, for my entire adult life, the base criticism of Republicans has been they’re “racist.” This label from the left has come for everyone. Mitt Romney, George Bush, of course Donald Trump. It’s come even for black and brown conservatives. Larry Elder was famously the “black face of white supremacy,” according to the LA Times.
Aside from allegedly racist, Republicans are a few other things. They’re decidedly intolerant of this kind of Neo Marxist claptrap. They don’t hand out privilege cards. They know the difference between a man and a woman. They think bad behavior should be punished, with jail time if necessary. They value family and community. They even go to church, which, if you’ve ever traveled through hispanic or black communities, makes them quite a bit more relatable.
Moderate “racism” also makes them relatable. Ever been to a multiethnic urban area? Cubans think the Ricans are annoying, blacks and Yemeni bodega workers are like oil and water, so on. It’s not virulent, like a camp of armed neo nazis in the mountains, but it’s there simmering nonetheless.
The left is giving the electorate an easy choice, even if and some would say especially if the “racism” charge is remotely true. Choose between a thing you can relate with, that actually makes sense, or something that is utterly incoherent.
Communist, morbidly obese they/them transgender squirrel people who have castrated themselves or … Marco Rubio, JD Vance, Donald Trump. Hell, even Mitt Romney.
It’s not even really a choice.
