State of Thursday: SOROS STRIKES CLOSE TO HOME
Don’t wait on the likes of Descano. His politics are as inverted as the name of the organization that put him in power.
Greetings, Dear Reader,
I’ve got my mother-in-law coming tomorrow. Good ol’ grandma! So daddy and mommy will get a date night this Saturday. Quite pumped.
Nothing matters more to me than my family, which is why I was quite worked up yesterday.
Let’s get into it …
SOROS STRIKES CLOSE TO HOME
The alert hit my phone at about 1 p.m. The street address of the murder was less than a mile from both my place of work and, crucially, the school my kids attend.
The suspect was armed and on the loose. Later, my wife would tell me it was the second time she’d had to alert our school that a shooter was on the loose.
About an hour later, authorities had nabbed the guy. Marvin Fernando Morales-Ortez.
If that rings alarm bells, don’t feel even slightly racist about it.
Ortez’s story is wild. He was booked in mid-September on charges of brandishing a firearm and malicious assault that led to injury. Fairfax DA Steve Descano then moved to drop all charges. Descano was propelled to election in 2019 through the ironically named “Justice for Public Safety PAC,” a George Soros project.
Before Ortez, Descano was somewhat recently infamous in conservative circles for overseeing the largest boom in illicit brothels that Fairfax has ever seen. Whorehouses, rub-and-tug massage parlors, and the like now number between 80 and 100 in the county, operating in plain sight.
Descano hasn’t explicitly announced he’s looking the other way, but the results are clear. On immigration, however, he did direct his prosecutors not to bring charges in cases that would have immigration consequences.
Enter Mr. Ortez. The judge approved Descano’s move to drop the charges. Ortez was released Tuesday. On Wednesday, he made good on his threats and allegedly killed someone in a residential block that is, again, less than a mile from where I sit right now.
Ortez is an illegal alien with a long rap sheet. Larceny, disorderly conduct, assault and battery twice, once on a police officer. Going back years. He was also charged with first-degree murder in 2021. Again, those charges were dropped.
The DHS excoriated Fairfax prosecutors, saying that if they’d cooperated with immigration authorities, whoever Ortez (allegedly) just killed would still be alive right now.
DHS’s outrage pales in comparison to mine. This was too close to home.
We need to ignore all the bawling from perpetually aggrieved, inconsolable liberals. Look at this guy. Scroll up and look at him. Does he look like a native Hispanic? No belt, pants below his crotch. I don’t care what they say, if authorities see guys like Ortez, they need to stop them every time. I don’t care if he’s just sitting outside with a Big Gulp minding his own damn business. Rope his ass up and make him prove he belongs here.
Don’t wait on the likes of Descano. His politics are as inverted as the name of the organization that put him in power. “Justice for Public Safety” my a**!
Rope them up and fly them to wherever; I patently do not care. Drop the Ortezes of the world in Eritrea. Send them en masse to Somalia. Dump them there by the tens of thousands.
I don’t want them in prison here. I don’t want to pay for them. They don’t belong here and they are a danger to the public.
Get them out!
That’s it for the free portion of today’s State of the Day.
