Greetings, Dear Reader,
You know the old phrase “blink and you’ll miss it”?
Well, if you blinked, the insane people took over one of the most important states in the Union.
AMERICA WAKES UP TO VIRGINIA
“They will do this nationally as soon as they gain power and democracy will end,” Elon Musk tweeted yesterday.
He was referring to the wave of proposed legislation that has hit Virginia since Democrats took a trifecta in the state all of a week ago. It’s hard to put into words what the Democrat vision is, but I’ll give it a shot.
In short, their platform appears to be:
Punish police more
Free stuff for illegal immigrants
Commence gaying up the children
Tax everything. Tax gas, tax tips and meals, tax guns.
On guns, let’s ban them. Also, let’s require special gun IDs for ownership
Forget counting votes, ban that too
While we’re on the subject, let’s do voting on the “internet”
Ban white men from securing government contracts
Re-hire everyone DOGE fired
Gerrymander the GOP into a permanent minority to “resist Trump”
And much, much more!
My descriptions might be in the vernacular, but they’re not hyperbolic. Read the text of these bills. I’m not making any of this up and trust me, I wish I were.
I described it yesterday as an orgy of destruction, and that’s exactly what it is. It’ll destroy Virginia, and if we let it happen, they’ll export it nationally the next chance they get.
The tweet Musk was replying to put it best.
“While conservatives were bleating ‘if we fight dirty, we’re no better than them,’ it took Democrats less than 24 hours after winning to put in express lanes to Sodom and Gomorrah.”
Think that’s over the top? Just look at these edits on mandatory minimum sentences in House Bill 863, which was filed Jan. 13, four days before Democrat Abigail Spanberger was sworn in as governor.
Hey, guys, let’s make rape less punishable!
You think that’s crazy? Hold my beer! How about we edit out mando mins for “production of child porn”!
Is this on brand for Democrats? I dunno …
Let’s do a hypothetical shall we? You’re a 20-year-old illegal alien male from Guatemala. You coax a 13-year-old girl from a bus stop so you can rape her, film it, and then distribute the video.
Spanberger banned courts from cooperating with ICE. If you do end up in jail, there is no mandatory minimum sentence, so it won’t be long. And good luck for you! Virginia Democrats want taxpayers to foot the bill for your English classes while you’re incarcerated! They want to make sure you fully understand the “resources” — i.e., taxpayer funded government programs — at your disposal (again, I’m not joking; that is actually in the proposed law).
God forbid we make English mandatory in schools and government, but rape a 13-year-old, sure we’ll teach you the language, but only so you can exploit our generosity with more ease.
Oh, now you want a sex change in prison? You can get that too! Let’s stick you in the ladies lock-up, where you can do some more raping!
The good news is none of this is final yet, so there’s still time for the GOP to react aggressively.
While we’re on the subject: it appears as if there is some hesitation to actually react aggressively in various corners of the GOP. The worry is what will happen when the pendulum swings, and Democrats once again assume the highest echelons of national power. If we’re too mean to them, then they’ll be mean to us, goes the thought, as if legal crime and subsidized raping isn’t an all-out emergency.
The most insidious part of this wave of destruction heading toward Virginia is that it was precipitated in part by a delusion.
The great thing about Trump is that he’s doing exactly what he said. The meme “we voted for this” is not even slightly bombastic. It’s true!
Democrats, however, like Spanberger, don’t run for office by repping these policies. They don’t come right out and say they’re going to gay up the kids. In fact, Spanberger spent most of her campaign running away from that question.
Mostly they run on Trump Derangement Syndrome. While national Republicans (particularly in the Senate) desperately search for their spines, Democrats run on the apparition of ruthless fascism. Sure, like Spanberger, they talk about affordability, when they are even talking about policies, they talk about housing, sometimes they talk about empathy and immigration, but they certainly never mention things like ending mando mins for child predators.
When libs pull the level for folks like Spanberger, they mostly do it because they hate Trump and have watched too many TikTok videos of purple hairs shrieking about ICE.
We should also be honest that this Democrat blitz in Virginia is, in some ways, modeled after Trump’s blitz last year. They know they need to be aggressive because he wrote the playbook on aggression.
Perhaps they’re daring the apparition to become a reality. Perhaps what they want is abuse. I’ve seen the women confronting ICE officers in Minneapolis. It’s kind of a meme that they’re sexually deprived sadomasochists. That they want to be manhandled. I don’t think that’s far from reality.
They fantasize about fascism and then blitz policies most likely to bring it on.
Should we give them what they want?
Is there an alternative?
