State of Tuesday: What’s It Like To Live In A Consequence-Free World? Just Ask Renée Good

Here we are again, State of the Day, where I strip the euphemism and misdirection off the day’s news and give it to you straight, no ice, no mixer.
Do you remember childhood? Do you remember what it was like to live in a world where consequences were only vaguely understood?
Well, that childhood was probably the closest you’ve ever been to understanding the modern, adult liberal.
WELCOME TO THE CONSEQUENCE FREE ZONE
Yesterday I wrote about a goofy far-left comedian who almost died. We know Walter Masterson almost died because the police have been very clear about him, and many others, almost dying.
He was standing in the middle of a protest “making content” about how terrible and no good anti-immigrant “white supremacists” are for the country when a homegrown Islamic jihadi vaulted over him to throw an explosive at the right wing counter protesters.
ICYMI, here’s what that looked like, in two images:
He later tweeted an image of the unexploded ordnance on the ground and made fun of conservatives.
The bomb squad did in fact confirm the bombs were filled with TATP, an explosive called “Mother of Satan.” They were also wrapped in nuts, bolts, screws and the like. Authorities unequivocally said that if either of the two bombs the jihadists deployed had exploded, it would have been a mass casualty event.
To fully flesh out the sheer luck of the situation, TATP has been known to explode without any initiating charge, i.e., a jostle can set this stuff into motion.
Conservatives saw the jihadist and the bomb and did the obvious: They ran away. Liberals sat there laughing and then stood around with the phones photographing the explosive.
And this anecdote gets at the heart of how those on the far left, who have captured so many critical institutions, are truly the most dangerous species in America. They are fundamentally incapable of identifying threats, and so they are fundamentally incapable of conceiving consequences.
The leftist stew that has caused this brain damage or mental illness or whatever you want to call it has essentially overridden billions of years of evolutionary biology.
Consequences are a far away, imaginary, or even just vacant concept in the liberal worldview.
It’s the best way to explain the deaths of Renée Good and Alex Pretti. Like Masterson, they were intellectually incapable of perceiving a negative consequence to their actions.
It also explains the institutional malignancy plaguing America. Elon Musk says lowering standards for the education of physicians will result in malpractice and preventable death on the operating table. Obvious consequence, right? Don Lemon sits in front of him utterly dumbfounded, his only retort a vague accusation that Musk is simply racist.
“Are you saying black people aren’t smart enough to be doctors?” Or some such nonsense.
Hey, guys, maybe don’t DEI military flight training. A helicopter crashing into a commercial airliner barely made a blip in the liberal worldview, but conservatives rightly and instantly took note.
The judges and prosecutors and city administrators who consistently absolve repeat violent offenders. Who refuse to cooperate with ICE on detainers and release rabid illegals back into the general population. The resulting murders and rapes are almost too numerous to count.
The academics and educators who don’t foresee the obvious result of removing entrance exam requirements. Of abolishing gifted courses. Or of openly discriminating against the applications of white males. Now an army of highly credentialed, highly indebted idiots has been pipelined into every major institution. The illiterati.
Our supposed smartest, our best and brightest, are not even remotely immune to the leftist, brain sapping stew. At best they laugh as conservatives predict the obvious outcome. They mock the right for running away from bombs! At worst, they take the podium and blame “white supremacy” for two radical Islamic teens building homemade bombs, intent on inflicting fatal acts of terrorism.
Concepts like “suicidal empathy” are merely a result of living in a consequence-free world. The brainwashed hair-dyes with septum piercings wait until people with intact amygdalas go to sleep so they can open the gates and welcome in the oppressed zombie hordes.
Never mind how obvious the outcome of such an act is. They’re so incapable of conceiving it, they won’t even hear the screams of the once peaceful and productive as they fall victim to the gnashing of the ravenous multitude.
They live in a consequence-free world.
In a better world, they’d all be in asylums.

Mr. Ingersoll obviously fails to understand the truth, that in a world with no heaven, no hell, not even the slightest hint of the Absolute, that reality is only -- indeed -- what we say it is, no more no less. He skips right over the fact that my Lived Truth is no better, no worse than his Lived Truth, and that each must be measured against the Better World that the more Enlightened among us are so desperately seeking through our ceaseless efforts to D-I-E!
"Imagine there's no heaven... It's easy if you try... No hell below us... Above us only sky... Imagine all the people ... Living for today, ah ... Imagine there's no countries ... It isn't hard to do ... Nothing to kill or die for ... And no religion too!"
Just imagine it! A world in which absolutely nothing has a value important enough, significant enough to be worth the sacrifice of even a single life. Imagine a world in which everyone lives always and only for the NOW, the impulse, the desire, the appetite which must be -- right now --fulfilled (and every appetite righteous).
Does it even need to be said? In that world bombs don't explode next to me because I do not deserve to be exploded. (Fascists do, of course)
"Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man!"
How loverly this sounds to the True Believers, with their fine & dandy pre-printed signs from the Party for Socialism and Liberation, PSLweb, and the AnswerCoalition which together form the hulking blob which is the institutionalization of A Consequence Free Life. Manna falls from the Heaven on Earth which is Big Brother...and is paid for by the treasure extracted from the Scrooge McDuck Oppressors of the world because we deserve it!
Consequence? Consequence!? We don't need no steeenking Consequence! Or rather... We ARE the consequence! Look at our works, ye mighty, and despair!
