State of Wednesday: ABIGAIL SPANBERGER'S CREEPING APOCALYPSE
Grab power, but be smart about it.

The country was in large part founded on the brains of Virginia men (and Pennsylvania and Massachusetts if we’re fair).
So let’s talk about one Virginia woman …
ABIGAIL SPANBERGER’S CREEPING APOCALYPSE
The most extreme human fantasies about the apocalypse cast it usually as a sudden and irreversible rubicon.
A giant space rock crashes into us. An engineered virus with no natural immunity that kills in days. Nukes on the horizon.
In terms of a political apocalypse, Abigail Spanberger is more like one of Homer’s sirens. Her song has lulled the electorate to sleep. She creeps softly over us, a bug whose hard exoskeleton boasts a layer of warm human skin, injecting our institutions with low-grade acid that melts them from the inside out.
There was hope for her initially, when she won a House seat. In a closed-door meeting with other Democrats, including Pelosi, she flat out called Defund the Police “stupid,” and said it was going to cost “everyone” their “jobs.”
Like the skin wrapping her insectile form, however, the logic was simply superficial. A CIA officer by trade, Abigail knew the optics were what mattered; the effects were secondary to the song. If the effects were the goal, they could be achieved with less glaringly “stupid” lyrics.
“As a former federal law enforcement officer who conducted joint search and arrest warrants alongside state and local officers, Governor Spanberger firmly believes that violent criminals who are in the United States illegally should be deported by immigration enforcement. DHS should request a signed judicial warrant to ensure this violent criminal is deported.”
Those were the lyrics when she decided to block DHS partnerships with local law enforcement, which is in part a “sanctuary” policy. “Requesting a signed judicial warrant” is also a sanctuary policy. Administrative warrants are usually the bar, especially for violent illegals. Requiring a judge to sign off on warrants for known (often violent) aliens is a barrier to deportation.
The “as a” – which if you read me, you know I hate – adds credibility to the whole assertion. But, Dear Reader, she was a postal inspector conducting fraud investigations. Obviously you’d need a judicial warrant for those.
Most of the public is unaware of these crucial details.
Spanberger signed legislation for Virginia redistricting that would dissolve the votes of the roughly 45% of Republican voters in her state. The maps, if adopted in the referendum, would redraw Virginia from 6:5 to be a 10:1 Dem:GOP state.
“This is the work of the legislature. It’s recognizing that Virginia has the opportunity and the responsibility to be responsive in the face of efforts across the country to change maps … ”
And “Virginia is moving forward with this temporary and responsive effort to redistrict.”
And “it is temporary, directly responsive to what other states decide to do, and — most importantly, it preserves Virginia’s bipartisan redistricting process for the future.
It’s “temporary” and “responsive” to “a President who says he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats before this year’s midterm elections.”
Never mind that Trump’s efforts to redistrict have similarly dissolved. Dems have more fortitude to seize power when it’s there to seize.
Lastly, yesterday, she signed away Virginia’s electoral college votes to California and New York.
SB322 would overturn Virginia’s presidential election results if the loser of the electoral college won the popular vote. So if Virginia’s population chooses a Republican, but New York and California overwhelmingly choose a Democrat, Virginia cedes their EC votes to the whims of voters in those two states.
It also overturns the constitutional republic framework the founders put into place against mob rule 250 years ago (happy birthday America!).
And what were the lyrics then?
“I think this is a very straightforward, long-term plan to get us to a point where the United States is frankly what most people think it is, which is a place where every person’s vote counts the same as every other person’s vote.”
Your vote counts the same.
Unless, of course, the states with zero boundaries to voting and zero voting integrity generate tens of thousands of fake ballots. Screw it, let’s do hundreds of thousands. Who’s counting? We are!
This is just three months into her tenure, as she gears up for a national run in ‘28.
Republicans better wise up. They better plug their ears against her song and the songs of their perpetually cucked colleagues. The determined losers among us are content to rail against the machine and do nothing to dismantle it.
Unless she’s stopped, former CIA spooks like Spanberger will dissolve us all in a slow drip.
And when she’s done, she’ll wear America like a skinsuit.
