Superb article. It says what I've been saying and publishing for decades. A country cannot reward "the best and the brightest" if it continuously panders to, and subsidizes, the "worst and the dumbest." The lower class, especially the nonwhite lower class, is a burden, not a blessing.

I do have one point of contention, however. As a longtime supporter of Right to Work laws, I reject the claim that greater power for organized labor will alleviate this situation. It cannot be denied that unions use government-granted monopoly powers to restrict labor market entry, often using violence and vandalism (and threats of such actions) to enforce their will on the innocent. Nor can it be denied that many private- and public-sector are corrupt as hell at the national, district council and local levels. I've published countless articles and several monographs dramatizing this. Worse yet, and ironically, union-sponsored political action committees overwhelmingly raise money on behalf of Democratic Party candidates -- in other words, candidates in the very party that serves as paymaster for the lower class.
