Today we’re covering the final moments of the Karmelo Anthony murder trial, Scott Pelley’s post-’60 Minutes’ meltdown, and bombshell documents in the Minnesota fraud scandal.


KARMELO ANTHONY DEFENSE WAVES WHITE FLAG

The defense in Karmelo Anthony’s murder trial rested Monday without putting Anthony on the stand, capping a day in court that did little to help the defense’s case that Anthony was acting in self defense when he allegedly fatally stabbed Frisco Memorial student-athlete Austin Metcalf at a track meet.

Video and audio are banned from the courtroom, so accounts of what’s going on inside are reliant on the handful of reporters approved to cover the trial.

Over the past few days of witness testimony, those reporters’ accounts paint a picture of a quite lopsided case.
