Former ESPN host Jemele Hill is not known for missing an opportunity to blame everything on white people. That’s what made her latest take on the Karmelo Anthony verdict so notable.

Hill had her fair share of racialized hot takes on the case — for example, calling out the Anthony family for selecting a white lawyer. But when it came down to brass tacks, she acknowledged the real lesson that the racial-grievance class is too cowardly to teach.
