Hey y’all, welcome back to Unfit to Print.

Is Flock really the next great crime-fighting tool?

THEY ALREADY KNOW WHO THE CRIMINALS ARE

Some conservatives have decided America’s crime problem requires more government surveillance.

Flock cameras, they argue, are the high-tech tool that can help police solve crimes faster and deter would-be offenders.

And because conservatives are rightfully fed up with crime, the pitch is very alluring.

The problem with this argument is that America often has no shortage of information on who the criminals are.

Where we fail to stop crime is after we make the arrest.
